Development Journal

This is my personal development journal

In this development journal i am going to be talking about what i have done/accomplished during the week.

I am doing this blog as a part of the Btec national diploma at penwith college.

First week: I am currently falling way behind in the database subject as i really struggle with it, and i am probably going to have to come in on mondays. (my study day/day off). Coming in on my study day will boost my chances in getting a better grade at the subject.

Second week: Another thing that we have been doing this week is our reports, about how well we are working and about our attitude towards our work my attitude to my work has been satasfactory, these all get sent to out tutor, and he will give us a target grade, and talk to us about what were struggling with and what were doing good in, so these reports about us is just a gernal report on how were doing, and if we need and extra help in subjects.

Third week: The thing we have been doing this week has been, programming, we have only been doing this for one lesson now, and is a little diffucult, we are using a program called Delphi, and it is a very effective program. At the moment we are currently entering codes, to show simple commands such as saying 'HelloWorld' this is simple, but giving me an understanding on what 'coding' is like.

Fourth week: This week i have been working on all assignments, making an effort to trying to catch up, although i dont enjoy this course, which makes this couse even harder.

Fifth week:: we had the last 2 weeks off for term end, so now i am back to catching up on work.

Sixth week: This week has just started and i am getting on with my blog mainly at the moment, also i need to catch up in my graphics work.

Seventh week: this week i have been doing the same as before i have been trying to catch up alot, also our timetable has changed so the last lesson we have on a friday, has been moved to tuesday (today) so our lunch break isnt so long.

Eighth week: we have now nearly broken up for this year, but im not doing thie second course, i plan on getting an apprenticeship, its much more practical, and i dont want to do any more education ive been doing it for years, the only thing i have to do is finish up on a couple of bits and pieces then im all done.
